ডিমের ওপর বিদ্যমান আমদানি শুল্ক ২৫% থেকে কমিয়ে ৫% নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। এতে প্রতি ডজন ডিমের মূল্য ১৩ টাকা ৮০ পয়সা কমবে। ভোক্তা এই সুবিধা প্রত্যক্ষভাবে পায় কিনা এখন তাই দেখার বিষয়। এই সুবিধা ৩১ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত বলবৎ থাকবে।
