Position: Executive – Digital Marketing (Social Media)

Job Location: Dhaka (House 21, Road 7/B, Sector 3 Uttara Model Town Dhaka-1230)
Employment Status: Contractual for 6 months (Possible extension based on successfully completion of the tasks)

Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Communications / Media Studies or related discipline
• Skills and portfolio will be prioritized even if academic background differs.
Experience
• 1 to 2 years
• The applicants must have experience in the following business area(s): Digital Marketing / Social Media
Marketing / Service-based business marketing / Logistics or e-commerce (preferred)
Additional Requirements
• Age: 22 to 30 years (flexible based on skills)
• Strong knowledge of page management and Meta Business Suite
• Basic knowledge of Canva (post design, banner, promotional creatives)
• Ability to write professional content in Bangla and English
• Basic video editing skills (Cap Cut / In Shot) will be an advantage
• Ability to manage inbox/messages and handle inquiries professionally
• Good understanding of Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.) will get extra priority
• Organized, disciplined, and able to work under deadlines

Responsibilities & Context
DPEX Bangladesh is seeking a smart and proactive social media & Digital Marketing Executive who will manage our digital presence and support customer acquisition for SME exporters (especially garments exporters in Dhaka).
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow DPEX social pages (Facebook primarily; LinkedIn secondary)
• Prepare and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar
• Create and publish posts, stories, and short videos/reels
• Develop corridor-based content (Australia export, Pakistan import, Malaysia etc.)
• Answer inbox messages, respond to inquiries, and maintain a lead tracking sheet
• Coordinate with operations team to publish accurate updates (cutoff times, service updates)
• Execute low-budget boosting/ads (if needed) and track performance
• Submit weekly report: reach, engagement, inquiries, leads generated

Compensation & Other Benefits
• Salary: BDT 35,000 (first 6 months – probation period)
• After 6 months the salary would be re-negotiated based on performance
• Salary Review: After probation (performance-based)

Probation & Policy
• Probation period: 6 months
• During probation: employment may be ended by either party with salary in lieu of notice as per company policy
