He never returns empty-handed. Not because he has to, but because he thinks of me wherever he goes. Sometimes it’s just a leaf he found beautiful, sometimes a small flower, sometimes bangles he thought would match my hands. Tiny things. Ordinary things. But when he gives them to me, they feel like treasures.
This time he came back from Dhaka with these simple pencils. Nothing expensive, nothing grand, just something he saw and thought, “She’ll smile.” And he was right. Because love, for us, doesn’t arrive in big boxes. It comes quietly, in small red-and-white pencils, carrying a piece of his day, his journey, and his heart.

Hold on to people who remember you in the middle of their ordinary moments. Because the smallest things, given with care, often carry the biggest love.

This was my first coffee date — not the kind you plan for days, but the kind that slowly finds its way into your heart. Two cups placed by the window, sunlight slipping through the glass, and a world outside that kept moving while we stayed still. The smell of coffee mixed with nervous smiles, soft laughter, and that quiet excitement you feel when a moment starts to mean more than you expected.
It wasn’t just about coffee. It was about sitting across from someone and feeling calm in the silence.
