Burning is a Choice
Artists that find themself on our radar, and are booked in the past, are usually first-timers in the Balkans, or in Sarajevo. It was considered luck that we booked them just before their next turnover in their careers.
After Sara Collado, we can confirm - it's not luck, it is a fact.Last week, in a 2-hour DJ set at Sarajevo International Airport, on 29°, she opened the Nuance+ DJ residency. Surrounded by jet engines, which were announcing every landing and takeoff ( and there were 39 of them during the day ), she managed to focus and deliver a masterpiece set.
With enchanting energy, she created the vibe we honestly didn't expect. From Security Guards to ATP-ranked tennis players, from suits to shorts, everybody was vibing. In 24h, we managed to do a full 360 of Sarajevo essentials; we missed only the diplomatic connection, but we met them at the old town traffic lights. The thing is, we were too busy to say hello, digesting 10's from Saras' first Chevapi tasting.
We closed the day with the interview, and it's decided, she will be back. Not because of the music, DJ set, or professionalism, but rather because she has more charisma than some top 10 charts together. In the sea of sameness, there are still persons that can override shallow curents and make their own footprint visible for the world.
She burned for the people on the terrace, people burned for her, same like jet engines burn in the background, but she didn't quit before the last song hit the floor.
