Typically, the Pit Lane Walk takes place on Thursday. However, for the 2026 Baku Grand Prix, the entire race weekend schedule has been shifted one day earlier.
Since Sunday, September 27, is Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan, the main race will be held on Saturday. Consequently, the Pit Lane Walk is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23

Heading to Baku for the Grand Prix? Choosing the right seat is key to your race weekend experience. Here is a detailed breakdown of the Baku City Circuit locations to help you decide!
🏆 THE MAIN EVENT: ABSHERON GRANDSTAND
Location: Directly opposite the team garages (pit lane).
The View: Perfect for seeing the start/finish line, the podium ceremony, and high-pressure pit stops.
Comfort: Sections A, B, and C are the only ones on the track with partial roofing.
Bonus: Located right next to the F1 Village entertainment zone.
🏺 HISTORIC & TECHNICAL SECTORS
Icheri Sheher (Old City): Perched at the top of the hill by the narrow Turn 12. Experience the unique sight of modern F1 cars flying past ancient fortress walls.
Giz Galasi (Maiden Tower): Located right across from Baku’s most famous landmark. Watch the cars navigate Turn 18 before they blast onto the main straight.
AzNeft: A stunning spot on AzNeft Square. Ideal for watching drivers tackle Turn 16 and hunting for overtaking opportunities.
