Today, Silk Way Technics operates from a 26,000 m² hangar complex at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and is supported by a team of more than 600 certified specialists.

We are pleased to welcome our fourth Boeing 777 Freighter to the Silk Way West Airlines fleet — with this addition, our fleet now stands at 12 aircraft.
The aircraft is the fourth of six Boeing 777 Freighters ordered, with the remaining deliveries expected in 2027 — completing the first phase of our fleet renewal program.
Looking ahead, the second phase of fleet modernization will begin in 2028, including the introduction of next-generation freighters to support capacity growth and expand operations, with the total fleet set to reach 20 wide-body aircraft by 2030.

Wolfgang Meier, President of , recently joined the aircargo club deutschland (acd) event in Frankfurt to share insights on how Baku is evolving into a leading logistics and aviation hub along the Middle Corridor, connecting Europe and Asia.

In his presentation, he highlighted the vision behind the Alat International Airport and the Alat Logistics Center, two flagship projects that will strengthen Silk Way Group’s role as a key enabler of global trade and connectivity.

Silk Way West Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with .az , marking a new step in developing postal and e-commerce logistics.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance cargo transportation, last-mile delivery, and logistics services in Azerbaijan and internationally. It also opens new opportunities in the Alat Free Economic Zone, where both parties plan to explore joint logistics solutions. As part of the first phase, a fully automated e-commerce terminal of 12,000 m² will be developed to handle all postal and e-commerce parcels — laying the groundwork for large-scale regional logistics operations.
