Young, Boorowa and Weddin Community Transport Services Community Transport Connect - a corridor bus service from Young to Canberra and return each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Eligibility criteria exists.

Young, Boorowa and Weddin Community Transport Services are divisions of Coast & Country Community Services Ltd, a not for profit community organisation which aims to alleviate transport disadvantage in the Hilltops and Weddin Local Government Areas. servicing the communities of Young, Murringo, Boorowa and Yass. Available to everyone in the community for any reason. The bus stops at Jolimont Centr

e in Canberra city, the airport and the three major hospitals. Cost $15 one way and $25 same day return. Local Community Bus Service- A bus service for the frail aged, people with disabilities and their carers. Bus service Mon to Fri within the Young township. Cost $2 one way. Car Services to medical appointments in regional centres such as Wagga, Canberra, Orange, Goulburn, Albury and Sydney. Available to anyone who is unable to get to a medical appointment by their own means. Cost dependent on distance. Car services to provide transport to those living in isolation on farms and in surrounding villages to access appointments and shopping in Young. Medical transport for Department of Veterans Affairs clients and insurance travel.

Exciting news for our communities!!

Coast & Country Community Services (CCCS) has been selected by Transport for NSW to take part in a new government trial expanding transport access for people seeking education, training and employment opportunities.
The trial will extend CCCS’s existing community transport services to support people with limited or no access to private or public transport who need to attend face to face study at TAFE NSW or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or travel to work as an apprentice or trainee.
