Kurt is our Skipper and has a wealth of marine knowledge. With over 30 years of experience navigating inland waterways, Kurt is the steady hand at the helm of our operations. As our Skipper, he oversees every journey from start to finish—handling navigation, safety, scheduling, and all the behind-the-scenes planning that keeps us running efficiently. His calm demeanor and sharp eye make him a trusted leader on deck and a favorite among our clients. Whether it’s maneuvering tight locks or managing weather challenges, Kurt keeps the barge (and team) on course.
Hayden is our deckhand, Hayden is the muscle and heart of the deck, ensuring that cargo is secured, lines are tight, and everything is shipshape from bow to stern. With a hands-on attitude and a great sense of teamwork, Hayden handles everything from mooring and cargo loading to daily maintenance with skill and care. He’s also the first to lend a hand, crack a joke, or share a story from life on the water.
