* Bus driving experience will be highly regarded.

* Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)

To be successful in this role, you must be:

This week, we celebrated a very special milestone — Margaret Maddern’s 15 years of service with L&F Transfers.

Margaret was recognised in Blackwater on Tuesday 28/04/26 alongside her team, marking an incredible 15 years of dedication, consistency, and hard work.

Over that time, Margaret has built a reputation for being reliable, steady under pressure, and someone who genuinely cares about doing things properly. Her commitment to the job and the people she works with has made a lasting impact on both the team and the wider business.

It’s not just the years of service that stand out, but the way she’s shown up throughout them — with professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to support those around her.

🚌School Bus Monitor – Blackwater to Emerald (Immediate Start)

L&F Transfers is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Bus Monitor to join our team for our school service operating between Blackwater and Emerald.

This is a casual, term-time position with consistent set hours, perfect for someone local looking for steady work during school terms.

🕒 Working Hours (Split Shifts – Monday to Friday):

Morning: Approx. 6:50am – 10:20am
Afternoon: Approx. 1:40pm – 5:00pm

💰 Pay Rate:

$32 per hour casual rate

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise students to ensure safe and respectful behaviour on the bus
* Assist the driver by maintaining a calm and controlled environment
* Ensure students are seated safely and following bus rules
* Assist with boarding and disembarking where required
* Monitor attendance and report any issues

About You:

* Must hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills
* Calm, patient, and confident managing children
* Safety-focused with a professional attitude
* Previous bus driving or transport experience is highly regarded
