Abel Civil is hiring: Experienced Truck & Dog Driver
Location: Yanina, Queensland (local role)

We’re a local civil and haulage company seeking an experienced truck and dog driver to join our team. This is a local, full-time role with above-award wages.

What you’ll do:
- Safely operate a truck and dog (semi-trailer) to haul materials to and from site
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic routine maintenance
- Load, secure, and unload materials; ensure loads are tied down securely
- Adhere to road rules, site safety, and OH&S policies
- Communicate with site supervisors and keep accurate logs as required
- Report any issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly
- Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks

What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience driving a truck and dog (semi-trailer) in civil/construction environments preferred
- Valid Australian heavy-vehicle licence (HC/MC preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
- Physically capable of loading/unloading and working outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and good communicator
- Ability to work flexible hours, with potential for overtime

The first week of 2026 done and dusted.
Getting one of the Aura Retail building slabs ready for finishing.

We are looking forward to a huge 2026 with new projects soon to be announced and a tight dedicated crew.
