So nice to be on the move again! Albeit only for a long weekend. Back in one of our favourite haunts ( there is a pun there! ). An old gold mining town ( hence the reference to ghosts), this is our 5th visit here and I always find something interesting.

Well no travels this holidays for us. We had a quiet break. Planning June July though so stay tuned!

Well our mate has left ICU and is now on a ward so we feel we can finally have a few days of holidays. A family wedding was part of our reason to be in Perth and it didn’t disappoint! It was a really fun wedding at Margaret Rivers Secret Garden that we bussed in and out of. Our accommodation at Caves House spectacular and joy to sleep in a real bed.

So all the seasons tidings to you all!
Bit of an update: we had been having lovely wanderings around se qld but got a dreaded call that a mate was pretty crook so upped stumps and headed west early. Friend is doing better so thats all that matters- more holidays will come !
Not really a holiday so no pics yet.
Motto: DO IT NOW!!!

Last few days-
The Leap pub

A drive on the backroads through one of Oz’s oldest goldmine towns Mount Morgan, down to Monto and camped up here for the night.

So yesterday we upped stumps from our base van park for a couple of weeks of Queensland whimsy. No set destination other than a plane flight from Brisbane Perth at the end of the month.
First stop is a place we normally bypass as you have to go into it to see. Probably a place we won’t come again haha
Blowin’ Bowen- great for mangoes and not much else. We just don’t see or feel the attraction. Anyway, nice quiet van park by the “beach”- not much beach and a lot of stones.
Next stop ??? Will see when we get there
