MR / HR Skip Bin Truck Driver – Immediate Start (skip truck experience preferred)

L&D Brown Skip Bin Hire

Wyong – Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle

Full time or part time
Casual contract at this stage - permanent position available to the right candidate

Attractive rates circa $33-$38 per hour plus additional allowances
Paid weekly each Thursday
Constant ongoing work
Overtime available
Must have can-do and friendly, positive attitude

Job Responsibilities
• Operate skip trucks with a highest emphasis on road safety and customer satisfaction.
• Depot based in Wyong. Main service area Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
• Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Secure loads using chains and straps.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of vehicles.
• Other yard duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications of the successful candidate:
• Hold a valid MR or HR truck license (HR preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Full NSW Driving History
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 6:00AM to 3:30PM
• Minimum 1 year experience with skip trucks preferred. Further training will be provided on the job to the right candidate
• Sound knowledge of service area (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast)
• Must have an outstanding level of customer service
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable, motivated, and respectful towards equipment, with good time management skills
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Very strong communication skills to interact with customers and staff at waste management facilities and head office
• Presentable, enthusiastic, and confident individual
• Team player
• Holding a construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) is a plus
• Understand all aspects of OH&S and compliance
