Uh oh, the secret is out!..
The Flinders Ranges has been recognised as a top 25 travel destination in the world, and it is the only place in Australia that made the list! 😲

We still have a small amount of space for our trips in 2026, might want to get in quick now if you were thinking about joining one 🤣

Lonely Planet has released its Best in Travel 2026 list, and South Australia’s Flinders Ranges and Outback has been named—and is the only Australian destination to make the cut.

The global travel authority’s annual list features the top 25 destinations and top 25 experiences for the year ahead, complete with local tips and essential experiences.

If you’ve visited Flinders Ranges and Outback, you’ll understand the deep sense of sanctity it holds. Sounds reverberate through the landscape, carrying stories passed down over millennia. The earth is weathered but not worn—it speaks its own language, telling tales as old as time. It’s a place of powerful cultural connection, fostered by generations of Adnyamathanha people.

Anyone ever wondered how they transition a French Oak wine barrel into a whiskey barrel?..

Well.. here is how it's done!
After toasting the barrel, it smells so sweet, too.

Our guests were lucky enough to witness this in the Cooperage at a couple of days ago on our Barossa Valley E-Bike Tour.
This Cooperage is the only one in a winery in the southern hemisphere 😲

Last week, we wrapped up our very first 7-Day Flinders Ranges and Clare Valley E-Bike Tour – and what an incredible adventure it was! 🚴‍♀️✨ With a full group of riders, the tour was an absolute HIT, and the feedback couldn’t have been better.

Our journey kicked off with a stop at the stunning Alligator Gorge before heading into the Flinders Ranges, where we experienced something truly rare… rain! 🌧️ Day one delivered some wet and muddy riding conditions (check out the photos 🤣), but the unexpected weather brought a silver lining. Road closures into Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park meant fewer vehicles – and an unforgettable chance to see dozens of Yellow-Footed Rock Wallabies up close, just a few feet away! 🦘

A highlight for many was a cultural tour through Sacred Canyon with Kristian from Wadna offering a powerful insight into 40,000 years of Adnyamathanha history, rock art, and petroglyphs. From there, we rode breathtaking sections of the Mawson Trail, surrounded by the dramatic Heysen and ABC Ranges – an experience that left everyone in awe. 😍

Some guests even took to the skies on an optional scenic flight over Wilpena Pound and the Ranges – another bucket-list moment that did not disappoint!

We’re beyond excited to run many more of these tours in the future. 📅 New dates for 2026 will be announced next month. With around 15 people already on the waitlist, spots are expected to fill quickly – send us a message to secure your place!
