This one landed in our inbox from John and Dianne after their seven days through the Flinders Ranges and the Clare Valley.
"We had a fabulous experience with Bike About. First up, Dan and Matt were absolutely brilliant, experienced, caring, nothing too much trouble, all delivered in a friendly, laid back way that made us feel completely at home. Second, the activities were organised to give us a full experience of our surroundings, from Rawnsley Park in the Flinders, to an excellent Indigenous immersion in the local culture, to great riding tracks in Wilpena Pound, to a perfect introduction to the w**es and food of the Clare Valley. And finally, very good bikes, great accommodation and wonderful food. We can't recommend Bike About too highly. And no, we aren't related and no money changed hands."
That last line is the bit we keep reading out to each other. For the record, they are correct on both counts.
Seven days riding through some of the oldest country on earth, a support vehicle the whole way, and a finish in the Clare Valley with a very cold riesling in hand.
Thanks John and Dianne. It was a great week.
Next year is already moving. May and June 2027 are sold out. July, August and September still have space, and that is prime riding weather up north.
