motely piloted aircraft (RPA) or remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS). These may be used for military, recreational or commercial purposes. Eagle Eye RPAS utilise aircraft that may have one or more sensors for mapping, investigation or public display activities. The sensors may include inertial management unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS), Global Navigation Network System (GNSS), gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, altimeter, still camera, video camera, Infrared Camera and Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) capturing a range of data. The aircraft may be controlled by our ground based pilot in real time or by a pre-programmed flight path with continual monitoring of the mission and flight data by one of our certified operators. Eagle Eye Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems operate under a Civil Aviation Authority (CASA) Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC). Our pilots, who hold a CASA issued Aviation Reference Number, (ARN) are fully trained and certified by CASA, each holding a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and Aircraft Radio Operators Certificate (AROC). Missions undertaken by Eagle Eye RPAS are completed with the utmost diligence with comprehensive Risk Assessments being prepared prior to the commencement of any of our operations. Strict compliance with the legislative requirements such as the Civil Aviation Act 1988, Airspace Act 2007 and the Privacy Act 1988 to name only a few, are adhered to at all times. Documentation such as Operations Manuals, Operations Library, maintenance and servicing records, Job safety assessments and Safe Working Methods insurance documentation including public liability are available on request.
