An update from the Green family.

The Green family wishes to share that we have sold the majority of Greenfreight’s highway business to a large national transport and logistics company. Greenfreight will continue operating, with a focus on our specialist transport services.

With more than 50 years of history behind our family business, this has been an incredibly difficult decision. It follows several months of careful consideration and planning, amid rising fuel costs, the impact of January’s devastating fires, ongoing pressure on freight rates and softer demand across the economy.

Over the coming weeks, we will work closely with the new owner and its supporting contractors to transition the affected operations, supporting our employees and customers through the process.

We sincerely thank our employees, customers, suppliers and the wider transport community for their loyalty and support over the years. The relationships we have built mean a great deal to our family.

While this marks a significant change for Greenfreight, it allows us to focus on our specialist operations and the next chapter of our family business.

Join our friendly logistics team and play a key role in keeping our freight operations running smoothly.

👍About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced Admin Clerk for a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage freight data, track KPIs and provide excellent customer support while keeping our systems up to date and accurate.

🚛Your key duties will include:
• Tracking and data entry of incoming and outgoing freight
• KPI tracking and reporting
• Customer management and service support
• General administrative tasks to support daily operations

• Experienced in administration and data entry
• Accurate, organised and confident working with systems and reports
• A great communicator who enjoys working with customers and a supportive team
