Paros!!! What a dream!
Naoussa was easily one of my favourite places in Paros.
Once a traditional fishing village, it has become a gorgeous little town while still keeping so much of its character. The harbour is lined with colourful fishing boats, waterfront tavernas and the remains of a Venetian castle, while the narrow lanes behind it are filled with boutiques, cafés and beautiful whitewashed buildings.
We loved wandering through the village in the late afternoon, stopping for a drink by the water and watching Naoussa come alive at night when everyone arrives late to dine.
It’s stylish and bustling but still feels so Greek — and it’s a fantastic base for exploring the rest of Paros.
There’s much more of the island to come, but Naoussa deserves a post of its own.
