There are a lot of Australians whom are down on their luck at the moment, be it fire, flood, drought or hurricane. Mother Nature has really not been kind of late.
Leading into Australia Day 2026, I would like to acknowledge the way we can band together, showing true Aussie spirit to help others in need, digging deep even when they themselves are down on their luck…
The Riverland is struggling too, as little communities mostly made up of vineyards orchards & farmland.
Whilst our primary industries and those whom are dedicated to serve them, are also in trouble, It is in times of need, regardless of our own circumstances, we pull together for the greater good of others and in just 10 days, our locals have donated their time, their fleet, their workers, their fuel, their clothes, bedding, nappies, baby goods, school supplies, kids toys, toiletries, family care packs, couples care packs, food, water, pet supplies- I could go on……
We have filled an entire truckload from our little communities! We got such an amazing response, that even the Barossa community jumped on board with multiple Ute & Trailer loads to help their fellow Aussies back on their feet.
This kind of Aussie Spirit makes my heart smile.
We partnered up with the lads at Northside Produce SA to orchestrate what I hope will be a little ray of sunshine for those whom have lost it all in the VIC bushfires. Whilst my prime movers are not carrying this very special load, we are proud to have collaborated for the end goal. 🤗
To all the other businesses whom donated upto literal pallets of goods, Thankyou 💗
To all the individuals and families whom gave, even though they may not have much to give right now, Thankyou 💗
To the Morgan Hotel, who thought beyond the obvious and sent a beer over to offer respite for the tireless volunteers, Thankyou 💗
To Malcolm & Julie Steinert of NSP, your staff have abandoned you and commandeered an entire prime mover & trailers for the cause, Thankyou 💗
To Plugga, whom uses his big heart and amazing connections to get things done! Thankyou 💗
To the little convoy of locals driving from SA to Victoria right now to lend a hand when this load gets there, Thankyou 💗
Happy Australia Day Weekend!!
