Junee Shire Council needed more capacity to keep up with current and future workload.

Working closely with us, they selected a Hino FS 2848 paired with a Chris’s Body Builders tipper and trailer set, a combination built for productivity, reliability and heavy duty performance.

Powered by Hino’s 13-litre E13C turbo diesel engine producing 480HP (353kW) and 2,157Nm of torque, the FS 2848 delivers the power needed for demanding council and civil works applications. With a GVM of 28 tonnes and GCM up to 72 tonnes, it's designed to handle serious workloads with ease.

The new setup provides the Junee Shire Council team with increased hauling capacity, improved efficiency across operations, and a comfortable, modern workspace for their drivers.

We appreciate the opportunity to supply this unit and look forward to seeing it at work across the region.

Our customer recently took delivery of a new FWR Trailer Float fitted with heavy duty loading ramps, providing a versatile and reliable solution for transporting machinery, plant equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.

Built tough for Australian conditions, FWR Trailers are proudly built in Brisbane, Australia. Their trailers offer a durable chassis design, strong load carrying capability and easy loading access, making it ideal for contractors, councils and civil operators who need dependable equipment every day.

The addition of the heavy duty ramps allows for quick and safe loading of excavators, skid steers, rollers and other machinery, helping to maximise productivity on site and minimise downtime.

Whether it's moving equipment between jobs or supporting daily operations, this new FWR trailer is ready for the task ahead.

Hilltops Council, thank you again for your business.

With a rego inspection due soon, this unit needed a proper tidy underneath so the team could check for any potential problems.

Running trucks through mud and dirty conditions can cause a lot of buildup over time, which can conceal leaks, broken parts or other issues that may lead to downtime.

An underbody degrease and wash on the hoist gives the mechanics a clear view before they get to work, so nothing is hidden and nothing is missed.

It can be the difference between a problem being covered up, or knowing what needs to be repaired before a rego inspection or potential breakdown.

Giving the customer confidence in what needs to be done to keep the unit on the road and keeping up with the workload.

Morning tea looked a bit different at Wagga Trucks today!

This morning, our departments all enjoyed morning tea together while hosting our annual Biggest Morning Tea. The Cancer Council is an organisation that has played a role in many of our staff, family and friends’ lives over the years.

Everyone chipped in with their baking skills and wallets to raise funds and acknowledge the work Cancer Council does for families across Australia.

Together, we raised $350, which will go towards cancer research and support for families affected by cancer.

Thank you to our team for your donations and support.

For a disease that takes so much, every little bit helps!

This week, we’re making the pledge to drive so others survive.

As a heavy vehicle repairer and dealership, the safety of our operators, employees, and community is at the forefront of everything we do. While National Road Safety Week shines a spotlight on this important message, safety is something we prioritise every single day.

From supplying truck brands equipped with industry leading safety features, to maintaining the highest safety standards across our workshop and operations, our focus remains the same, keeping operators safe and on the road.

This week serves as an important reminder of why safety is at the heart of our daily operations, helping keep communities across the Riverina and beyond safe.

Congratulations to Drew Elliott, our Employee of the Month for April!

Drew received the highest number of votes from his colleagues, and it’s easy to see why. A genuine top bloke, Drew is always willing to lend a hand and help get jobs over the line. His easy going nature and strong dedication to his work make him not only a valued team member, but also a mate everyone can rely on.

In previous years, Drew has already been recognised with two of our major annual awards: Training Champion and Employee of the Year and we’re excited to see him continue to grow and succeed.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Drew working on his ute, helping his family out on their property, or out riding motorbikes.

Alongside Drew, our next top five employees were also recognised with a well earned lunch at a local pub with Emma from our leadership team. Congratulations and thank you to Chappy, Riley, Matho, Jerum, and Charlie!
