While most people see our buses on the road, there's a dedicated team working behind the scenes to keep them there.

A huge shout-out to our incredible mechanics who work tirelessly every day to ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready for service. From routine maintenance and inspections to responding to breakdowns and urgent repairs, they're always ready to get the job done.

Whether it's early mornings, late nights, weekends, or roadside call-outs, our workshop team is committed to keeping our buses running smoothly and our passengers moving safely.

Their hard work, expertise, and dedication often go unseen, but without them, our buses wouldn't leave the depot each day.

πŸ‘ Thank you to our mechanics for everything you do to keep the wheels turning!

🚨 A Reminder About School Bus Behaviour 🚨

Recently, we have experienced a number of incidents involving unacceptable student behaviour on our school bus services.

The safety of students, drivers, and all passengers is our highest priority. We encourage parents, carers, and schools to take a moment to discuss the School Student Code of Conduct with their children and reinforce the importance of respectful and safe behaviour while travelling on the bus.

Students are expected to:
βœ”οΈ Follow the driver's directions
βœ”οΈ Remain seated where possible
βœ”οΈ Treat others with respect
βœ”οΈ Keep hands, feet, and belongings to themselves
βœ”οΈ Help create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone

Unacceptable behaviour such as bullying, fighting, offensive language, vandalism, throwing objects, or distracting the driver will not be tolerated. Such behaviour will result in disciplinary action, including formal warning letters. Continued breaches of the Code of Conduct will lead to suspension from bus travel and other penalties.

We appreciate the support of parents, carers, and schools in helping ensure every journey is a safe one.

πŸšŒπŸŽ‰ Happy Long Weekend! πŸŽ‰πŸšŒ

Here's hoping the long weekend brings sunshine, good times, and not three days of rain, wind, and wondering why you didn't just stay in bed. β˜”πŸ˜…

Whether you're off camping, catching up with family and friends, heading away for an adventure, or doing absolutely nothing at all, we hope you have a fantastic break.

⚠️ Don't forget – Double Demerits are in place, so keep the speeding to your excitement levels and not your speedometer.

πŸ“… Monday is a Public Holiday, which means all bus services will be operating to the Public Holiday Timetable. Don't be that person standing at the bus stop wondering where everyone isβ€”check the timetable before you travel!

Stay safe, enjoy the extra day off, and let's hope Mother Nature got the memo that it's supposed to be a long weekend. β˜€οΈπŸšπŸ˜Ž

🌾 MORE THAN JUST A BUS RIDE 🚌

Every day, our buses travel thousands of kilometres across regional communities, connecting people with the places that matter most.

β—‡ Getting students to school safely.
β—‡ Helping workers get to their jobs.
β—‡ Assisting seniors with medical appointments.
β—‡ Taking sporting teams to competitions.
β—‡ Connecting communities to events and activities.
β—‡ Helping residents access essential services and shopping.

For many people in regional NSW, public transport is more than a convenienceβ€”it's a lifeline.

Behind every bus stop is a student chasing their education, a worker supporting their family, or a community member staying connected with friends, services and opportunities.

We're proud to play a small part in keeping our communities moving, connected and thriving.

❀️ Every seat has a story. Every journey has a purpose.

🚌 Lost Property – Plot Twist: The Bag Made It Home. The Lunch Box Didn't. 🚌

Every day, our buses become home to a collection of mystery items...

πŸŽ’ School bags
πŸ§₯ Jumpers
πŸ₯ͺ Lunch boxes
πŸ’§ Drink bottles

Some seem determined to start a new life riding around the region instead of going home!

While our drivers are pretty good at finding lost property, they're not mind readers (despite what some students think πŸ˜†). If an item isn't labelled, it can be very difficult to return it to its rightful owner.

🏷️ A simple name label with your child’s name and school can make all the difference.

βœ… Label school bags
βœ… Label lunch boxes
βœ… Label drink bottles
βœ… Label jumpers and jackets

Because let's be honest... buying your child their third "replacement" drink bottle this term probably wasn't part of the family budget. πŸ˜‚

A few seconds with a permanent marker today could save a lot of time, money and "Mum, I lost it again" conversations tomorrow!

🚌 Label it. Find it. Bring it home.

🚌 BUCKLE UP FOR SAFETY – IT’S THE LAW! 🚌

Every day, hundreds of students and passengers travel on buses across NSW. While we work hard to provide a safe journey, everyone has a responsibility to do their part by wearing their seatbelt correctly whenever one is fitted.

⚠️ Did you know?
In NSW, it is a legal requirement to wear a seatbelt on any bus that is fitted with seatbelts. Passengers who fail to wear a seatbelt are putting themselves and others at risk.

βœ… Take your seat as soon as you board
βœ… Wear your seatbelt properly – low, flat and firm across your body
βœ… Keep your seatbelt fastened for the entire journey
βœ… Follow all driver directions and safety instructions

A seatbelt is one of the simplest and most effective safety devices on any vehicle. In the event of sudden braking, a collision, or an emergency, wearing a seatbelt can significantly reduce the risk of serious injury and help save lives. Transport for NSW states that wearing a seatbelt can double your chance of surviving a crash and greatly reduce the risk of injury.

🚍 Bus Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility
Drivers are focused on getting passengers to their destination safely. When passengers remain seated and wear their seatbelts correctly, it allows drivers to concentrate on the road and helps create a safer environment for everyone onboard.

πŸ“’ Parents & Carers: Please remind your children that seatbelts are not optional. If a bus is fitted with seatbelts, they must be worn for the entire trip. Reinforcing this message at home helps keep all students safe.

❀️ One click can save a life.
Before the bus moves, make sure your seatbelt is on, fitted correctly, and securely fastened.

If a seatbelt is fitted, wear it – it’s the law. βš–οΈπŸšŒ

🌫️ FOGGY MORNING? STAY SAFE! 🚌

With colder weather arriving across our region, foggy mornings can make it difficult for drivers to see students waiting at bus stops.

🚌 Arrive early
πŸ‘€ Stay visible
🚸 Stand back from the road
🎧 Keep aware of your surroundings
βœ‹ Wait for the bus to stop before approaching
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Parents & Carers: Please take a moment each morning to remind children about safe bus stop behaviour, particularly during winter when mornings are darker and visibility is poor.

🚍 Our drivers take extra care in foggy conditions, but everyone has a role to play in keeping school travel safe.

Poor visibility means drivers need your help to stay safe.

Be Seen. Be Safe. πŸšβ„οΈ

πŸ‘‹βœ¨ MEET THE TEAM βœ¨πŸ‘‹

From left to right:

😊 Shar – Reception
The friendly face (and voice!) of the office. Shar keeps the phones ringing, paperwork flowing and visitors sorted, all while staying remarkably calm when everything else is chaos. ☎️✨

πŸ“‘ Rosie – Compliance & Contracts
Our compliance, contracts and reporting guru. From Transport for NSW requirements and audits to investigations and spreadsheets, Rosie helps keep the business on track β€” fuelled primarily by coffee and determination. β˜•πŸ˜‚

πŸ› οΈ Richard – Depot Manager
The depot's go-to problem solver. With years of experience and plenty of wisdom, Richard keeps things running smoothly and somehow always knows what's going on before anyone else does.

🚍 Geoff – Operations Manager
The king of rosters, radio calls and last-minute fixes. If something goes wrong, Geoff is usually already working on the solution β€” often while juggling multiple phone calls at once! β˜•πŸ˜…

πŸ“‹ Malvi – 2IC Operations
The calm in the chaos. From supporting drivers and managing schedules to handling peak-hour madness, Malvi keeps everything moving with a smile. πŸ₯‡πŸ’›

πŸ‘Ά Angus – Our Youngest Recruit
The newest member of the team and definitely the cutest. Angus has quickly become everyone's favourite visitor and keeps office morale at an all-time high! ❀️

πŸ’™ And then there are the rest of our behind-the-scenes legends β€” quietly getting on with the job, avoiding the spotlight, but making a huge difference every single day (and occasionally keeping the rest of us out of trouble πŸ˜†).

Together, this team works behind the scenes to support our drivers, keep services running smoothly, and make sure our passengers get where they need to go. We couldn't do it without you all. Thanks for everything you do! πŸšπŸ‘
