What is so special about Smooth Gel

Smooth Gel is Pregelatinised Pure Rice Flour.

Smooth Gel is made by rice being cooked, and dehydrated before being ground into fine particles, to become flour.

When added to even cold liquids, these particles will readily absorb moisture, expand and become "sticky", gelling together to thicken your creation. This makes it ideal for thickening non-dairy yoghurts.
