This afternoon we have Pink 3 that has breakdown at Ulverstone Secondary College. Please be aware that this service will be late & we are using other buses to get students home. Green 1 is one of these & consequently will also be delayed.
We appreciate your patience.

Today Targa is running through Natone, Upper Natone & South Riana. The race is currently running 2 hrs behind schedule & therefore roads will be closed longer than first advertised. If you are unsure about getting your children from school please contact your schools.
Our buses from Burnie & through Camena Rd Natone to South Riana will be delayed.
Bus from Ulverstone to South Riana will be delayed.
Bus from Riana Primary to South Riana will be delayed.
Bus from Penguin to South Riana will be delayed.
If your children are on one of these buses, they will remain on the bus until we can get them to their normal stops.

Due to a truck blocking the road all our Natone and Burnie bus services will be impacted, running up to 20 minutes late this morning.

Due to a truck blocking the road at Natone, our school bus services from Natone to Burnie Via Stowport and Heybridge to all burnie Schools will be delayed by approx. 15 Mins this morning. We will be underway as soon as it is possible.

Tuesday 4th Feb
Burnie & Ulverstone Buses (Leighland yr 11 & 12’s)
Wednesday 5th Feb
Burnie & Ulverstone Buses (Leighland whole school – both campuses)
Thursday 6th Feb
Government Schools Commence – this includes George Town, Penguin, Natone & Riana Buses
Friday 7th Feb
Marist, Sacred Heart & Star of the Sea Commence.

Parents, guardians and caregivers, please take the time to read this information.

For many students and families across the state, bus travel is an important part of getting to and from school 🚌

All students have the right to feel safe while waiting for, travelling on, boarding and disembarking from buses.

That's why the Department of State Growth has teamed up with the Tasmanian Bus Association, Catholic Education Tasmania and contracted school bus operators to bring together a code of conduct for passengers. The code aims to keep all those using bus services to and from school, safe.

We encourage parents and carers to read the code and chat with their families about what behaviour is and isn't appropriate for the school bus.
