🔥 OUR FIRST WILD CARD TRAINER IS HERE! 🔥
We are very excited to officially introduce Cailin Bobbermen of Caballine Equine, South East Queensland, as our first Legacy of the Horse 2027 Wild Card Trainer! 🐴
Cailin’s journey into horsemanship is one she has built for herself from the ground up.
She didn’t grow up in a horse family or on a property — she simply started as a horse-obsessed 12-year-old girl who never grew out of her love for them.
From trick riding and showjumping to starting and educating young horses, Cailin continued to seek opportunities to learn and develop her horsemanship. Along the way she became an electrician by trade, but horses remained where her heart was, and at the end of 2025 she took the leap from a secure career into training horses full-time through Caballine Equine.
At the centre of Cailin’s approach is confidence.
She believes every horse is an individual and that there is no single method that fits them all. Her priority is creating horses that are confident in themselves, confident in their handler and able to think their way through situations rather than simply react.
Cailin has competed in training competitions including Cowgirls Gathering’s Race to Ranch, winning in her first year before returning with a Standardbred, and has worked as a Pen Wrangler at the Man From Snowy River C**t Starting Challenge. She has also completed her Equine Sports Therapy qualification, adding a deeper understanding of biomechanics, movement and physical comfort to her training.
And now she is ready for her next challenge…
🔥 THE LEGACY OF THE HORSE 2027 WILD CARD CHALLENGE! 🔥
Cailin is one of just FOUR Wild Card Trainers who will step into the Legacy arena in April.
Four trainers.
Four young horses.
One opportunity.
🏆 The Wild Card winner earns the fourth and final position in the Legacy of the Horse Championship, where they will take on our three invited Championship Trainers from around the world.
Cailin says:
“I didn’t inherit my horsemanship. I built it, one horse, one experience and one mistake at a time. And I’m still learning — I always will be.”
We think that sums up beautifully what Legacy of the Horse is all about.
