Planning, planning and a little more planning. Trying to determine how to get to Adelaide.

I’m going to stop at Broken Hill on the way to see family so that stop is a must but the route to Broken Hill hasn’t been cemented in yet.

Would like to see if there are any other teams in QLD would like to meet up along the way and convoy down to help one another out.

With the money from the Meat Raffle and a few more donations from a couple of awesome people at my lawn bowls club we have managed to fundraise $8185!!!

Thanks to Townsville RSL for allowing us to run a meat raffle last night! We had such a great night with the trivia and had a good feed as well!

We raised $410 which will be banked and added to our total. This will bring our total above $8000!!!

Car is looking fresh after a wash at Sparkletown Car Washes in North Shore, Burdell.

We had to have it looking good for its return trip to Townsville RSL on Charters Towers Road. We will be having a meat tray raffle to keep that fundraising amount ticking over.

If you want to be in the chance to win be there tonight between 6.30pm and around 7.20pm. We will be making the rounds around each area.

Thanks to Matty from Elite Performance & Tuning for helping us out with a set of speakers! Turns out him and Shaun had known each other for a very long time.

Another big thanks goes to Naomi for linking Matty and the Anchors Deep team together.

A quick test fit confirms that the will fit in the doors and can be mounted to the original speaker surround. Have to make some small wire connections before properly testing them.

9000km or so with no music would be quite painful. 😣

We are searching for some replacements speakers for our car. We need 6.5 inch round speakers if you have any laying around in the garage.

The rubber around the edge has left the chat a long time ago it seems.
