TML has arrived in Brisbane!

In March, we welcomed most of our new Brisbane team with a three day orientation and get-together.

While the Brisbane flooding delayed the start of operations, we made use of this time with continued training and familiarisation until our first vessel arrived.

On Tuesday 12 April 2022, TML completed its first vessel, Coresky Ol, discharging around 5,500t of steel products for Swire Shipping.

Brisbane Operations Manager, Mitchell Auker, and his team meticulously planned for this day, and we are proud of how the new team performed.

Congratulations to all involved in the planning and start-up of our Brisbane operations and the result of a safe, efficient and positive beginning.

We are excited about TML’s future and continued success.

This week TML set another Port of Townsville Record, achieving an average of 47 TEU per hour on the MV Lautoka Chief. Since commencing container operations in early 2020, we have built our productivity to a level where vessels calling our Berth 4 Terminal are turned around a minimum of 12 hours faster, saving our partners valuable $$$ and ensuring they are on time to the next port of call.
