Today marks a major milestone for Rocke Brothers as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary! Although the Rocke transport legacy dates back to the 1850’s, it is the modern Rocke Brothers business that we celebrate today. On 19 April 2003, Michael, Matthew, and Paul Rocke began operating Rocke Brothers in Brooklyn (Tottenham), Victoria.

It's been an incredible journey full of challenges, opportunities, and growth, and we're so grateful for everyone who has been a part of this amazing ride.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers who have made this possible, with their support and trust in us.

We're incredibly grateful for our amazing team members that have helped us get here, and we're excited about the future. Here's to the next 20 years and beyond!

“I started in what was a male dominated industry 18 years ago, where females held mainly customer service and admin type roles, barely any management positions. To now seeing a lot of those women I started with including myself holding important management roles.”

This World Mental Health Day the message is Awareness. Belonging. Connection. A day launched by the World Health Organisation to focus on making mental health and wellbeing a global priority for all.

At Rocke, we will continue to keep a spotlight on the area of mental health and wellbeing, and we will continue to encourage everyone to keep working on making meaningful connections and supporting each other everyday.

Inaugural Mental Health Awareness Campaign

The Silk Group proudly held its inaugural Mental Health Awareness (MHA) campaign this month. The campaign fittingly kicked off on R U OK? Day across all sites nationally and ran for 7 days with a range of activities at each site around the theme of mental health.

Safety is the most important value at Silk, and our people’s psychological safety is just as vital as their physical safety. So, although the formal MHA campaign has come to an end, Silk will continue to support our people and encourage our people to continue to support each other to create a positive and supportive environment for all. We want everyone in our community to feel they can talk about how they’re really feeling and access support if they need it, and the Silk Group will be there to provide this support to our people.

This year’s event was a great success, and we can’t wait to run it again next year!
