We are looking for a qualified truck operator to join the Darling Downs Metals team.

Requirements:
- Current MC licence (HR minimum)
- Ability to pass a full medical and National Police check
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Full time position (with flexibility)

Position includes but not limited to:
- Local Toowoomba bin pickups
- Heavy machine operating including excavator and fork lift
- May lead to job opportunities in decommissioning

Do you enjoy speaking to customers and you know the local area?
Are you physically fit and love working outdoors?
Will you pass a police check and a drug & alcohol medical?
We currently have a HR Pickup & Delivery Driver position available in our Torrington yard. The hours are from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday with no weekend work.

Darling Downs Metals

Darling Downs Metals is involved with the collection and recycling of scrap steel, copper, brass, aluminium, lead and stainless steel. The metal is collected, sorted and undergoes primary treatment (cutting to marketable size, baling, stripping plastic from copper etc) at the Toowoomba yard with the majority of the material sold to the export market. We have the following: Demolition licence All required local, state and federal government environmental licences Registered public weigh bridge Licences for vehicles to transport hazardous goods
