Got spotted on the road this week by the “OG” of roadside photography Scotty Curtis! Any driver around the Geelong region knows Scotty, and if you are into trucks check out his page at Truckaus! Scotty loves trucks and has been taking photos of trucks for 40 odd years, a lot of the history in transport has been captured by Scotty over the years and defiantly worth a look. One word can describe this week at whites beach… challenging! Starting with the challenge of loading live onto vessel with our south west Victorian weather, finishing the week with getting as much urea out to customers as we can before the weekends pending rain! A timely reminder that what comes from the sky dictates what this truck does, and along with the farmers and merchants we support, we wouldn’t have it any other way! This was lining up to put the first load on for the week!

Looks like I have big job over the weekend getting the big girl cleaned up after a week on south west Victoria’s winter tracks! Hard to be a work horse and a show pony at the same time but we always try to present the best we can! With grain prices jumping this week we might be coming into some busy times as farmers and traders offload inventory before harvest! 🤞

Cracking week of weather to follow a decent rain and Victorian grain crops are loving it! With many farmers saying it is the best start they have ever seen to a season, some growers even welcoming frosty conditions over night to slow growth down! This load being unloaded at a local feed mill near Geelong!
