What a fantastic day at Brisbane Riverfire! 🎆✈️

We left Toowoomba after lunch and headed down to New Farm to jump aboard the Eye Spy cruise ship. What a great boat! There was heaps of room to move around and three levels to explore, so we had plenty of great spots to watch everything happening on the river.

And then came the flyovers! 😍 The C-17A Globemaster III and F/A-18F Super Hornets flying overhead were absolutely AMAZING! ✈️✈️

They were VERY noisy — you could certainly feel them coming! 😂 But wow… what an incredible sight and experience!

After dinner, it was time for the fireworks. 🎆 What a spectacular display! The colours, the lights and the atmosphere were just fantastic. We cruised around a little longer before heading back to New Farm.

Now we’re safely back home in Toowoomba, tired but very happy after such a wonderful day. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Nick for taking us there and bringing us safely home again. We had an absolute ball!

What great day at the Bush Basher in Esk! 🌿🎶

We started our morning with a beautiful stop for morning tea at Gus Beutel Lookout. What a fantastic view! We enjoyed the scenery, a cuppa, and a lovely morning together. ☕️🌄

Arriving at the Esk Bush Basher was even better, with lots of great Australian songs playing. It was wonderful to see everybody getting involved — singing, dancing, and even playing instruments! 🎵💃🕺

A big thank you to Bill and his fantastic team. You are all amazing! ❤️

This was the perfect outing, full of fun, laughter, music and wonderful memories. We had such a fantastic day! 🇦🇺🎶

AND JUST LIKE THAT… OUR 5-DAY ADVENTURE IS OVER! 🚌💨

Today is our last day, and sadly we’re heading home! 😢 How can 5 days go by SO quickly when you’re having this much fun? ❤️

We started our final morning with a lovely breakfast by the Bundaberg River 🌴☕ before heading off for a very important mission… SOFT DRINK TASTING! 🥤😂

And not just one or two flavours — we tasted an incredible 23 different Bundaberg flavours! 😋🥤 There may have been a few favourites… and possibly a few “interesting” choices! 😂

Then it was off to Macadamias Australia 🌳🥜 for a delicious lunch under the beautiful macadamia trees. What an absolutely gorgeous location and the perfect place to finish our Bundaberg sightseeing.

Now it’s time to point the bus towards home, travelling through Biggenden, Goomeri and Nanango. 🚌🏡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this trip such a fantastic success. 💕 We’ve had plenty of laughs, wonderful food, beautiful sights and made lots of fabulous memories along the way.

What a great adventure we’ve had so far! 🌊

On our 3rd day, we headed off to beautiful Lady Elliot Island, departing from Bundaberg Airport in the morning. The flight over was amazing, with stunning views as we approached the island.

We were met by our wonderful guide, Stella, who was incredibly knowledgeable about both the land and the sea. We enjoyed exploring the island, seeing the incredible wildlife and birdlife, and taking in the beauty all around us. What an awesome experience! 🐢🐦🌊

Our 4th day was just as exciting as we travelled to 1770 and Agnes Water. We explored the area, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a lovely lunch under a tree while watching the ocean.

Sometimes it’s the simple moments that are the best — good food, beautiful views, relaxing by the ocean and enjoying every moment. ❤️🌴🌊

Our Fraser Coast Adventure 🌴🐋
We departed on Tuesday for our five-day tour, heading through the Fraser Coast, Wide Bay, Bundaberg, Lady Elliot Island and 1770.

Our first stop was Maryborough, where our wonderful local guide, Ken, told us all about the town. Ken has an incredible amount of knowledge and really brought the history of Maryborough to life.

Next, we travelled to Hervey Bay, where we stayed overnight and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

The following day, we headed out on our whale-watching tour—and what a wonderful surprise! We were lucky enough to see so many whales. They are truly magnificent creatures, and seeing them up close was an unforgettable experience. 🐋❤️

After lunch, we made our way to Bundaberg, ready for the next part of our adventure.

Tomorrow, we’re heading off to Lady Elliot Island for the day. We’ve already had two wonderful days, and we can’t wait to see what the next few days bring!

So many beautiful places, wonderful experiences and happy memories being made along the way. 🌊☀️
