How good does this look "Long Haul for a sparking long rig!

It's an exciting time to be a part of the XL Express team as we were proud to schedule our first ever B-Triple run from Sydney to Perth, and it's just the beginning.

Aligning closely to two of our values here at XL Express, care, and collaboration, the initiative demonstrated our team's dedication, determination, and persistence to respond to our client's needs and get much needed supplies to Perth following a once in a 200-year weather event that washed away parts of the Trans-Australian railway across South Australia.

The XL Express Fleet team collaborated with our operations teams across 4 states, , multiple Transport Authorities, and the , who were all instrumental in getting us on the road in an extremely short timeframe. The outcome, a quick response to an immediate problem whilst being agile in meeting the needs of our clients and taking strides for our business in productivity and innovative thinking.

Well done team!

If you are in isolation or any of your family as a result of COVID please stay safe and recover as quickly as you can.

Hoping the number of cases are nearing it's peak and life can return to some sort of normal shortly. This time last year I knew of no one with COVID now its seams every second person I know has it !.

Changes in Orange Agency Distribution

After twenty-Five years of association Nagle Bros Transport and X Express have ended their freight service arrangement for the Mid-West of NSW.
I recall the day I phoned a small Local Delivery Service running a small Van around the Orange Township. I was looking to strengthen our Distribution in the Mid-West after the Tragic Death of the previous Agent.
A morning Coffee at the Hydro Majestic in the Blue Mountains followed and after for two cups of coffee and a plate of scones and from that meeting grew a strong reliable. personnel service that provided the distribution across the Mid-West the Company desperately needed. Back in the late 1990 local Country Agents were falling over regularly due to many Major Companies going into liquidation and very few viable options existed.
No service requirement was too difficult from the start and the later demands of medical deliveries, major book releases and of course Harry Potter, never once did they let me or XL Down.
During those years we had differences, easily sorted over a Coffee or a visit to Orange or to Smithfield. There was never a problem that could not be sorted with good will such was the relationship.
Clearly, I have a personal interest and I have no doubt they contributed to the success and reputation that XL enjoys in the market Place.
Relationships run their term in business as Company directions change to meet the ever-increasing Completeness of the Freight Distribution market and the specialized needs of clients.
Thank you, Nagel Bros for everything you did during the past 25 years, best wishes as your Business continues to grow

After almost 19 years of walking through these gates,I walk out for the very last time.

I have officially retired.

I will be taking plenty of memories with me,but its time to concentrate on training my greyhounds and spending time with my 4 beautiful grandchildren.

I've seen a lot of people come and go over the years ( some good & not so good).

A big thank you to everyone that has been part of my journey over the last 18 plus years.

A special thank you to Mr David Platt who was my depot manager for many years.

He wanted to sack me after the 1st week lol
Remember the medical deliver David ( I do)

David and I had our battles over the years ( I must have won some because i lasted 18 plus years)

Without Davids input i don't believe the company would be where it is today.

2 other people that came into my life were Dianne Hood & Robbie Evens.
Both were taken from us way to early and are in gods care.

To everyone else that I worked with over all those years.
Thanks for the memories.

I remember the problems delivering during the Olympic in Sydney in 2000 lots of difficulties but planning and a great team got us over the top and enable the Company to meet all its clients and their customers deadline. It was an exciting time but 21 years on and COVID must be throwing up many challenges during these lock downs for the business and staff

I can only imagine how tough and challenging it must be ensuring staff and clients are kept as safe as possible while all the time providing a service more in demand today than ever before.

A big shout out to all the dock hands, forklift drivers, line haul and delivery drivers while not forgetting the boys and girls in customer service who are keeping the freight moving

I was reminded how tough it must is when taking delivery earlier in the week.

Keep yourself and family safe and get the jab please !

I am sure many of our past and current line haul operators will agree but in the end it all works out .
