FULLY PAID TRIAL THIS SATURDAY: Food truck driver/kitchen service staff required: The BBQ Roadshow Low'n'Slow food truck is looking for a driver (normal manual car license) for an immediate start, as our business grows and we are looking to strengthen our team for various function catering gigs, rodeos, bbq festivals, music festivals, ag shows, pop-ups, etc... in and around Brisbane.
We offer consistent hours, above award rates and can teach you everything you need to know and offer more hours if you're keen to learn and earn more. No 2 days are the same (except for prep) as we never go to the same location more than once a month (quite often it is just once a year). Fun team, Low'n'Slow BBQ feed on shift (see menu below), knock-off drinks, and you get paid to attend events like Meatstock Toowoomba, Abbey Medieval Festival, A Day on the Green at Sirromet, etc...
Job includes: Helping load up food truck, driving to different locations, setting up for service, slicing brisket, building burgers, plating food, packing up & driving back from our low'n'slow BBQ gigs. Leaving from our base in Holland Park West you will travel to various different locations each week with me and other staff.
Initially it will be mainly weekend work but we will also hit the parks during the week once you're fully trained up. Own transport preferred to get to/from our base as there can occasionally be some early starts and some late finishes.
Some previous kitchen experience preferred, fluent English, excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, a great work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a fun team.
