Welcome back crew.
It been a few weeks away but
All the distraction is done with
And the eyes are on the prize again
And the prize is Sh**un EAST COAST 31
Genoa loaded today onto the furlex system
After hoisting this 6 times today the adjustments were made to the furlex system and we were on.
There is a small amount of tweeking to be done but all in all where ready to go with this sail
Jib leads are run and ready to go.
Main sail tomorrow
Then hull clean in 2 weeks time.
There will be some underwater footage coming your way with that section of the refit.
I can taste the finish line of sydney harbour days and the start line of lake macquarie.

Sadly no photos this week, just a maintance run and whipping the ends of some halyards.

When you buy a work tinny for your yatch from the local rowing club, but it needs a clean up

Down to the factory for a preasure wash and a repaint.

Solar panel mounts made ready to install
This will get the panel off the cabin roof and out of the way of the halyards

With the Genoa halyard pulled through, i couldn't hold back from pulling up the sail and checking it all out.
Eye splices to be done next week in halyards then we will load the genoa and thread the furlex system back to the cockpit.
Lets go guys.
