Muscat Trailers We build trailers that are strong, durable and made to order. That's how we've been building trailers since 1973 The Muscat story started way back in 1968.

That’s when Maurice Azzopardi, our CEO, started his Vehicle Body Building apprenticeship with Borcat Trailers. Two years later, aged 20, Maurice started Muscat Trailers, in partnership with Paul Muscat. Over the next 34 years, Muscat Trailers went from strength to strength, designing and building hundreds of the toughest, most durable trailers on the market. And building a reputation for excellenc

e, in the process. Then in 2004, after more than three decades in business together, Maurice and Paul parted ways, and Maurice’s son, Troy Azzopardi, came on board to help. Troy did his apprenticeship under the mentorship of Maurice, and is now responsible for sales and operations. Today, Muscat Trailers employs more than 30 people. We’ve designed and built more than 3,000 trailers in our time, and we service hundreds of clients around Australia. Some of the country’s biggest names – including Scott Corporation (including Bulktrans & Chemtrans), Giacci Bros WA (Qube), Daracon Engineering, TRN Group, Toll Mining, Whitehead Group, Milross Group and Mulgoa Quarries – as well as a lot of smaller operators. Importantly, we’ve become very well known for our creativity and inventiveness. We’re not content with simply building more of the same. Not when something new would serve much better. We’re constantly improving and innovating, and the results speak for themselves. We were the first in NSW to design and build the B-Double, the Bat Wing Trailer, the Side Tipper Trailer and many more cost-saving road freight haulage solutions. But one thing remains unchanged, even after all these years. We still focus on the highest levels of customer service, and quality, toughness and durability are at the heart of every trailer we build. Because Muscat means strong, before anything else.
