Continuation of the Cosmos Camino Walk (21st May - 1st June, 2026) - The Scenic Portuguese Route that Ruby Travels Worldwide took part in.

We travelled through beautiful quaint historic towns, walked on ancient historical bridges, prayed at many beautiful little churches and enormous Basilicas. We walked through stunning forests, with creeks of fresh flowing water that made the walk so refreshing and gave us the opportunity to love and connect with nature. St the end we made it to Santiago De Compostela-many times I didn't think I could complete it because it's tough, the terrain some days were not easy but with prayer and perseverance we did it and reached our final destination,

Ruby Travels Worldwide did the Cosmos Camino Walk - The Scenic Portuguese Way from 21st May - 2nd June 2026. It was a challenge for us as a couple to complete 148 Kms over 8 walking days. We had a lovely group of 11 of us from different parts of the world, USA, New Zealand, Canada & Australia. The friendship we have created amongst ourselves over the 12 days was amazing. We were all on the same journey.

Ruby Travels Worldwide visited Kyoto for 2 days. It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday to do this trip. Fushimi Inari Shrine (伏見稲荷大社, Fushimi Inari Taisha) is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds.

We also visited the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is the name given to a whole area in the western part of Kyoto where you can spend at least half a day. The bamboo grove is open to visitors 24 hours and free.

Another day in beautiful Japan. We stayed in Osaka for 3 days. We shopped, we went and saw the evening magic over Osaka from Umeda sky. We also visited Dotonbori: A famous nightlife and dining district with iconic neon signs.

Osaka City is the capital of Osaka Prefecture, with a population of approximately 2.72 million. It serves as a major financial hub and is divided into two primary areas: Kita (North/Umeda) and Minami (South/Namba).
