We love seeing familiar faces on Celiac Cruise, especially when that familiar face is Executive Chef Nicola. 👨🍳
As we prepare for our 33rd Celiac Cruise, we’re reflecting on the incredible culinary teams across Royal Caribbean who have supported our gluten-free community from the very beginning.
Our journey started in 2020 aboard Mariner of the Seas, where Executive chefs like Bala, Nicola, and countless others embraced the challenge of creating a safe and memorable dining experience for guests with celiac disease. Through training, ingredient reviews, menu planning, and an unwavering commitment to guest safety, they helped build the foundation of what Celiac Cruise is today.
We’re grateful to welcome Nicola back, but this post is also a thank you to every chef, cook, baker, and culinary team member across Royal Caribbean who has played a role in making our guests feel safe, included, and cared for.
Your dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn have made it possible for thousands of travelers to enjoy the freedom of vacationing without worry. Thank you for being such an important part of this journey.💙
