Airport lodgement and recovery, dedicated metro delivery services direct from the airport to your door, or delivery from point to point. With our freight movement division specialising in airport lodgement and retrieval, special shipments such as pharmaceutical products, defence and high value freight are all adequately catered for. Wymap has the reputation of safety, efficiency and reliability when it comes to moving high value or sensitive freight. For the movement of air freight containers, Wymap’s chain driven trailers provide ease of loading and unloading, with reduced manual handling risks. Tautliner trailers with fixed floors, chain drive and airbag roller systems are readily available. Rigid three and two bed roller trucks, fully enclosed tautliner trailers and heavy rigid trucks make up part of our extensive fleet. Express and urgent airside movements can also be made with smaller trucks and utilities in the fleet. Services

When a safety concern is raised, what happens next matters.

At Wymap, a raised concern goes through a process that engages our safety team. That helps us work out which route to take to minimise or eliminate the concern.

Looking after our people goes beyond the process. Fatigue management, check-ins, toolbox talks and our EAP service all sit behind the work, to help keep everyone safe in our workplace.

Most people see the trucks. Fewer see the room that keeps them running safely.

Our operations room allocates drivers to jobs, checks in with them through the day, makes sure they get their required breaks, and escalates any safety matter that lands on the desk.

It’s one of the quieter parts of safe work, and it ties closely to this week’s theme: health.

Safe work starts with awareness.

In aviation logistics, a lot is moving at once. Trucks, aircraft, loaders and ground equipment, all sharing the same space, with people working right alongside them. Knowing what’s around you is where safe work begins.

Everyone on site is here to get a job done. Doing it safely is what gets the freight to its destination, and what gets our people home at the end of the shift.

That’s why Week 1 of National Safe Work Month is about identifying hazards. Spotting something early, looking out for the person next to you, and keeping each other safe is how good work gets done.

October is National Safe Work Month, and this year’s theme is “”Safe work is for life.””

Week 1 is about identifying hazards. Steve has spent 30 years working on the airport in the trucks. On the tarmac and in our yard, aircraft, trucks, cars and forklifts are all moving at once, and his approach is simple: stay one step ahead and look out for everyone around you.

This month, we’re getting behind National Safe Work Month.

The 2026 theme is “Safe work is for life”, a reminder that safety isn’t just about avoiding an incident today, it’s about protecting our people’s health, and their future, for the long run.

At Wymap, that shows up in the small things as much as the big ones, a driver reading the yard before a load moves, a second look before something gets underway. It’s a habit, not a checkbox.

Throughout October we’ll be sharing more from our team, real conversations, real people, on what safe work actually looks like day to day at Wymap.
