You both show up for us every single day, without fail. You’re the ones who listen to us talk about our big dreams until we’re blue in the face, and the ones checking in late at night when the lights are still on, but the work has not finished.

Thank you for the “have you eaten enough?” texts when we’re looking a bit lean, for the laughs, and for being there through the tears, too. You’re the absolute heroes of our lives. You are the ones who tell us it’s all going to be okay and remind us how proud you are of us every single day. We are the luckiest to have your strength and your love guiding us.

I saw immediately why my friend had only the highest praise. Jodie assured me that the stress and damage of the earlier move should never have happened, saying ‘this time let’s give you the good experience that you deserve’. No Hiccup more than lived up to that promise. Every action—from the initial quote to the final box unpacked—reflected their principles. The team’s blend of meticulous professionalism and care was nothing short of inspirational. They clearly approach their work as a purpose-driven mission rather than a set of transactions, transforming moving tasks into genuine support for people in transition. OH MY GOD, what a moment for us. I actually feel emotional just writing this because this truck represents everything we have poured into this business.

It represents the 15-hour days, starting well before the sun comes up and finishing long after it sets. It represents the grit, and the relentless drive to show up for our clients and our most of all our community.

Every time we’ve gone the extra mile with Above 8 Donate to keep furniture out of landfill and every bit of heart the team has put in—it has all led to this.

We have spent the last three months building this custom Hino from the ground up, and taking possession of it this morning was a feeling I can’t quite describe. It is big, it is custom, and it is perfect.

We are so incredibly excited to show you the final look once it is wrapped in our signature hot pink. This is a dream turned into reality, and we can’t wait to get this baby on the road.

Ever tried to fit a massive French-door fridge through a standard doorway? It is officially the adult version of the game Operation.

We are talking absolute precision with mere millimetres of clearance on either side. It is the kind of item that feels like it might dent if you even breathe on it too hard. Everyone on-site is usually standing back, holding their breath in total silence, Thankfully the man behind the trolley is as cool as a cucumber.

Watching Dan manoeuvre these items, using his foot on a pivot to swing into a tight corner, is truly impressive. He has done this thousands honestly, tens of thousands of times over the years. In almost 10 years of doing this, I have never seen him mark, scuff, or dent a fridge. Not once. It is a masterclass in elite removals every single time.

It was honestly pretty tough leaving this one today and heading back to Sydney. Sometimes you just click with a property and the people in it, and today was exactly that.

Our customer Matt, his beautiful partner, Dan, and I struck up a kinship almost immediately. It felt like we’d been friends for years, sharing stories about our families and our upbringings. We realised we share those same fastidious traits and personality quirks, which made the whole process even more of a laugh.

It truly was a dream relocation with dream customers. And the property? Absolutely extraordinary. It is such a privilege to be the trusted removalist for homes and people like this.

Back to the Sydney hustle now, but Bowral definitely has a piece of our hearts today.

The Stair-Climbing "Sickos" Have Arrived

Unless you live on the top floor of a walk-up with no lift, don't even bother calling us...

Just kidding. You can always call us, but we have a confession to make
 we actually love stairs. Like, "we might need professional help" kind of love.

Most people see eight flights of stairs and think "nightmare." We see them and think, "Heck yes, let’s see how fast we can clock this." There is something strangely addictive about the challenge of a high-rise move. We live for the look on a customer’s face when we’ve cleared their entire top-floor flat before they’ve even finished scouting out the new local coffee shop.

Our customer watched us for ten minutes and then genuinely asked: "Are you guys the type of people who just run marathons for fun on the weekends?" That’s how fast we were moving. We don't just shift furniture we turn your move into a high-speed masterclass. If you want to be so impressed that you actually can’t believe it’s finished, you know who to call. The dream team!!

This is what a successful apartment relocation looks like when trucks are restricted from entering the site. While these situations can be daunting for some, we approach them with a clear strategy and the right equipment.

Some strata laws are incredibly strict, leaving no room for error. When we encounter these restrictions, we don’t just hope for the best we come prepared:

‱ Strategic Parking: We secure a safe position on the street for our primary heavy vehicle. 🚛

‱ The Ferry Vehicle: We utilise our specialised van or ute to shuttle items between the large truck and your apartment entrance. đŸ›»

This doesn’t mean that everyone gets a quick ride down the ramp. This means that one van goes down fully loaded and two guys grab a trolley and load up some more items.

You have to be efficient and you have to always think of the customer first—what can make this go even quicker for them?
