Just because we’ve been a little quiet on Facebook doesn’t mean things have slowed down around here!

We’ve been busy doing what we love — meeting amazing people and helping make moving and downsizing as smooth and stress-free as possible. It’s such a privilege to be part of these big life moments, and we’re grateful for every single client who trusts us along the way.

A fresh Start for Helen, Alan & Freddy! 🌟

This week we had the absolute pleasure of helping Helen, Alan and their adorable dog Freddy transition from their 4-bedroom family home into their new retirement residence at Sundale Palmwoods

Moving isn’t just about boxes — it’s about people, memories, and making the next chapter feel easy and uplifting.
Our team supported them every step of the way:

We recently had the pleasure of partnering with Everlight Aged Care Solutions to help Robyn move on to her new life at Maleny Grove retirement village.
Robyn has lived in some wonderful places over her lifetime, and we loved hearing her great stories. But now admits she stayed in her big empty house longer than she should have.

It’s natural to feel attached to a home filled with memories, but it’s important to prioritize your well-being and future needs. Downsizing doesn’t mean letting go of your past—it’s about creating a safer, simpler, and more fulfilling environment for the years ahead. By making this change, you can focus on what truly matters: enjoying life, staying active, connecting with loved ones and making new friends.

Dropped off some cash this week 💵 — proceeds from the sale of belongings for clients who recently downsized. It was great to see them again and see how well they’re settling into their retirement village, Allora Gardens Keyton

We had the privilege of supporting their whole transition: packing, cleaning, moving and unpacking. Knowing that we could not only make the move smoother but also return extra value through selling items makes it even more rewarding. ✨

Helping people through these big life changes is exactly why we do what we do. 💙

We got to put all our resources to use for this property clearance at Carters Ridge (Gympie Region) Over 2 days we used a Truck, the van and our new 5x7 trailer to sort the contents and empty the house & shed of all belongings. Set in beautiful countryside it was so peaceful and quiet, making the work feel more rewarding. By the end, the property was left clear, tidy and ready for its next chapter, with everything carefully sorted, loaded, and responsibly disposed of, or taken to our warehouse for re-sale.

More Than A Move are Absolutely Amazing.
My wife and I are elderly and have restrictive health issues which made it impossible for us to do the moving. From the first contact the ladies from More than a Move took away all of our anxiety with the words "you need do nothing".
They seamlessly and efficiently packed us out of our sold property and, having arranged the removals truck, unpacked us into our Retirement Villa. Everything into cupboards and drawers, Clothes hung in wardrobes, Beds made floors vacuumed and washed and then a DEEP clean of our previous residence.
We queried where were our floor mats? Oh I took them home and washed them for you said Rosie, one of the Directors, they were back the next day!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

This week we had the privilege of helping a wonderful client who had spent nearly 40 years in the home she built with her husband. She had always vowed never to leave, until she saw what a great life her friend now has since moving to a retirement village. After decades of memories and belongings, our team assisted her with the task she thought impossible. The process of decluttering, packing, moving, cleaning and then unpacking for her into a beautiful new, downsized home.
The journey was as emotional as it was rewarding. From sorting through cherished items to ensuring the transition was as smooth and stress-free as possible.
To see her now with so much to look forward to in her new life at Sundale Coolum Waters, these are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
We're so thrilled that Trish is now settling into her new space and ready to make new memories in a fresh chapter of her life. 🏡✨
