Some great advice

🌾 Bringing in hay to get through dry times? It might also be bringing in weeds.

🌱 Weeds can travel in hay, grain and other fodder - especially when sourcing feed from outside your local area. Once introduced, they can establish quickly around feed-out areas, along waterways and across paddocks, increasing control costs and impacting productivity.

👀 The challenge is that you often won’t see the problem straight away.

What you can do:
🔎 Ask where your fodder has come from
📄 Request a vendor declaration where possible
🌦️ Monitor feed-out areas closely - especially after rain
✂️ Act early before weeds set seed

🚜 Early detection is your best defence.
