Early New Year's Eve fireworks display as seen from Montpellier Park. Many of the residents from Highton gathered in the park for a birds eye view of the display, many more gathered around the foreshore for a for a close up view of the event.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas now. The council chambers are covered in a light projection and the well known floating Christmas tree lights up every night at the end of Moorabool Street. A pretty spectacle for young and old alike
