Dad and Kerry spent a week at the Boab Boat an Bush Getaway doing some up keep. Restained the veranda and back deck. Got Agnes prepped and ready for the next weather window. Also catching a feed of crabs inbetween coats of paint. House is ready to go for the guests arriving for the up and coming school holidays.

Regulars at the house Kerry and Dave made the trip up from Toowoomba with there 6.2m Caribbean with the wkds weather window. They got onto some nice Trout and Red Throat at Boult and Wides. Now a few days at the house chilling by the pool before they head off tmrw.

Well after 15 years running Hondas now done the switch to Yamaha. Let’s see how it goes after 2 years and 1000hrs compared to the Hondas.

What better place to be stranded at than the Boab Getaway 1770 playing games and making fun in the wet. The guests was due to check out on Sunday but due to the roads being cut was able to leave. Boab Boats Bribie Island and 1770 have made sure these guests aren't out of pocket due to this event.

Thats the Xmas, New Year and Ausralia Day wkd guests been and gone great time had by all at the Boab Boat an Bush Getaway. School holidays are already starting to fill for 2026 those planning a trip to this beautiful holiday house dont leave it to the last minute to book your stay.

Myself and PJ ( On your boat adventures 1770) decided to go for a quick run in Agnes out the front to look for some Nannies something we both havent caught or targetted out of 1770 before.
We found a patch bunched up on the bottom and hungry all that 60 to 63cm. Got a few into the boat until the tax man arrived to end the day.

Boab 1770 Getaway had Matty an Duncan out on Agnes and Micheal and Mark with the 6m Stabi-craft. Weather was good they got onto some nice fish and a few days crabbing. Great work guys.
