We're trying to work out how to improve public transport in and around Yarram. One possibility that has been proven in many other small communities across Victoria is to establish a Community Bus.

What sort of bus would be best for the community? How would it work? Where would it go? How would we pay for fuel, maintenance, licensing and all the other operational costs?

We have some initial ideas, but we need your help to progress the idea. Please have a look at www.yarram.org.au/bus for more information and the opportunity to have your say on how a community bus might be established.

It's a big thing - lots of planning and decisions - and we need a team of volunteers to bring it to life. If you would like to be part of this project, please let us know....we'd love to have you on board!
