Parafield Airport is South Australia's premier general aviation airport and is a major world standard international training airport. Parafield Airport Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adelaide Airport Limited which purchased the operating l

eases for Adelaide and Parafield Airports in May 1998, to operate both airports for the next 50 years with an option for a further 49 years. Adelaide Airport is currently the fourth-largest domestic airport and sixth-largest international airport in Australia. It is the aviation gateway to South Australia and processes more than seven million passengers annually.

At 18, Pilot Rose is aiming to become the youngest female to complete a solo circumnavigation in a general aviation aircraft. So far, she has covered more than 15,000 km across 25 airports, including a visit to Parafield this morning.

The flight is raising funds for Little Wings and helping lift awareness of aviation as a career path for young people.

It was great to welcome Pilot Rose this morning and we wish her well on her journey! ✈️
