Can you believe it's been 5 YEARS since we got 4 of our 6 Mahindra's? 😱🥳

Its been a busy few years, and we are stoked to have seen a million kilometres in not just one, but multiple utes! And for these utes to still be on the road today!

TO THE TOP ⬆️

Latest fortnight, our team organised an urgent delivery of precious cargo that couldn't be shipped via barge and delivered it all the way up to Rio Tinto's Weipa Powerstation, in Evans Landing, QLD.

This type of job doesn't come often, but our team always jumps at the opportunity. Who would decline a drive up to Cape York?! 🤩

Our team collected this urgent delivery from ES&S Artamon (Sydney) at midmorning Friday 12th and got it to its destination in Cape York early afternoon on Sunday 14th. This shows the power of a two-up hotshot!

Mason managed to get some great shots along the way, and we just have to showcase them!

We looking for 2x All-Round Drivers to jump in and help fill the gaps during this festive season!

Quick Rundown:
💼 Casual basis (opportunity for permanency).
⏰ 24/7 operation, various shift start times.
💪🏻 Confident 30+ hours per week.
🚚 Driving vans, utes and trucks.
📦 Doing both general freight and hotshots.
🗺️ Between our Rutherford & Singleton depots.
💰 Comes with pretty nice penalty rates.

Requirements:
🚚 Availability to work across our 24/7 roster, covering morning, afternoon and night shifts, on both weekday and weekends.

🚚 Flexibility to work between both our Rutherford and Singleton depots.

🚚 Must have drivers licence with the ability to drive manual transmission. Non-negotiable.

🚚 HR Truck Licence highly desirable but not essential.

🚚 Must be relatively fit and have the ability to lift and carry boxes/parcels up to 25kg. Particularly the general freight can be laboursome being multi-drop of small goods.

🚚 Willingness to produce a current driving record and/or complete a drug and alcohol screening if requested.

📝 Note: These two positions have a high opportunity to lead to ongoing work and/or a permanent role in the new year for the right candidate.

Earlier in the year, we picked up this beauty and it has more then just jumped straight in, it's kept up with all of our originals perfectly!

With a few extra spec's for longer interstate drives, 16K sports some heavy duty brush bars, an extra fuel tank and even a stainless steel snorkel. You can't miss it coming!

EARNING HER KEEP 💪🏻

Our 5.5T Flat-top Hino has been non-stop since its purchase at the beginning of the year. So much so, we can't keep track of her trips!

In a matter of months, this truck has seen NSW, QLD, VIC and SA, completed 150+ jobs and even taken part in a charity event. 🤩

This little truck has been an absolute ripper, and has quite quickly become a driver favourite. Needless to say, it's fit in quite well to the VX family.

📍FROM EAST TO WEST AND BACK AGAIN!

In the last fortnight, our very own superstar driver Melissa made the trek across Australia to deliver urgent goods to Newmont's Boddington Gold Mine.

With only mere hours notice, she left our depot in our 12T Flattop Strallis right on daylight, for what was said to be an unforgettable journey. 🙌🏻

This urgent freight was collected from Metso Ballina NSW on Saturday 23rd, and was smoothly delivered to Boddington WA on Thursday 28th August. Can you believe that this freight weighed in at 7ton? This shows just how much looks can deceive!

Check out these incredible shots that Melissa took on her trip. Let's just say that the entire team back home were in absolute awe! 😍

Not just one, but two MORE! 😱

We've had two utes steadily approaching and near enough fighting over who would be our second ute to hit the ONE MILLION KILOMETRE mark, and wouldn't you know it - both hit the magic milestone in just over a week apart!

Congratulations to both 35M and 28R for making it to this incredible milestone. 🥳

On the July 29th, 35M hit the million with one of our hotshot drivers, Mason. Then 28R followed suite just 11 days later on August 9th with one of our longest serving drivers, Sean.

Fun Facts:
🔸 28R was the second single cab to join our fleet back in January 2021.
🔸 Both utes are on their second sets of numberplates! 35M was originally 26U and 28R was originally 11R.
🔸 35M is the tallest ute in our fleet.
🔸 Both utes average 250,000km per year.
🔸 35M was our youngest ute and the last to join our fleet. Was, you say? 🤭
