📣 Leadership Announcement | FAA Group

We’re pleased to announce that, effective Monday, 5 October 2026, Dwayne Hayes will step into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at FAA Group.

Over the past three years as General Manager, Dwayne has played an increasingly important role across our operations and the broader business. His leadership, commitment and contribution have continued to evolve alongside FAA Group, extending well beyond the traditional scope of his role.

This appointment recognises the significant responsibility Dwayne already holds within the business, as well as his continued involvement in operational performance, business improvement initiatives and the ongoing growth and development of FAA Group.

We’re proud to recognise Dwayne’s contribution with this next step in his leadership journey and look forward to what lies ahead.

Please join us in congratulating Dwayne on his well-deserved promotion to Chief Operating Officer! 👏🚛

It’s Grand Final day! 🏉🏆

On the field and on the road, a great team makes all the difference. At Freight Assist Australia, we know the result depends on people who communicate, back each other and deliver when it counts. 🚛🤝

Today, though, we’re putting the freight talk aside and settling in for the footy. Enjoy the game and stay safe!

Who are you backing? Drop your team colours below! 👇

Good food, great company and plenty of footy talk! 🏉🍽️

We loved getting together with some of our customers and team for the Great Grand Final Lunch. It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, share a meal and thank the people we work alongside throughout the year.

Thanks to everyone who joined us. Now for the big question: who’s taking home the premiership? 🏆👇

Our people are what make Freight Assist Australia what it is. ❤️🤍💙

We believe a strong team isn’t simply about how many people are on the roster — it’s about the people behind it. 🤝

From time to time, making the right decision for our business and our people means choosing culture over convenience. We would rather carry a little more work with a team that supports, respects and backs one another than compromise the environment we’ve worked hard to build.💪

We strongly believe in looking after the people who look after us. That means recognising commitment, rewarding those who go above and beyond, and creating a workplace where good people feel valued, supported and respected.🌟

We’re incredibly proud of the team we have across Freight Assist Australia and the culture we continue to build together. 🙌

Good people. Good culture. One team. 🚛❤️

Today, we’re celebrating a very special milestone—our Founder and CEO, Dean’s 60th birthday! 🎉

Dean’s vision and determination have built far more than a successful business. His leadership has created an incredible team and a workplace where people feel valued, supported and proud to be part of the journey.

The success of Freight Assist Australia is a reflection of the culture Dean has helped shape—one built on hard work, loyalty, respect and a genuine commitment to our people.

From the entire FAA family, thank you for your leadership, encouragement and everything you do to make Freight Assist such a great place to work.

Happy 60th Birthday, Dean!

Here’s to celebrating the leader behind the team and the man behind the vision. 🎂🚛🎈

At Freight Assist Australia, looking out for one another is part of how we work. 💛

Sometimes, a simple conversation can help lighten the load. Take the time to check in with the people around you, listen without judgement and remind them they’re not alone.

If you’re thinking it, ask R U OK? Any Day. 💛
