Today we celebrate National Female Truckies Day 🇦🇺

From behind the wheel to leading the way, Australia’s female truckies are made of grit, heart, and horsepower. And there’s no better trailblazer to honour than the one and only ‘T***s’ - a woman who didn’t just drive trucks… she drove change.

T***s hit the road in an era when trucking was seen as a man’s world - but that didn’t stop her. She carved her place with determination, outworked the best of them, and became the first female to hold a multi-combination truck licence in Australia.

Known across the country and beloved in the NT, her legend lives on in the stories told at truck stops, the murals on highway walls, and the generations of women she inspired.

Today, her legacy rolls on in every woman taking the wheel, running her own show, and keeping this country moving.
