'Just in time' vs 'just in case' inventory management.

Have you not heard of these terms?

Okay, let us explain these terms to you.

Just in time means you import items as needed, so you import more frequently and order smaller lots. That way, you're not paying for storage space and don't have to keep track of what you have and don't have.

Just in case is the opposite—you import large amounts of items to have them on hand, and you'll hold a higher stock level.

Each method has pros and cons, but it ultimately depends on what kind of business you're running.
