Another Seaside Explorer to remember!

Our passengers stepped aboard for a unique heritage railway experience this past Sunday, as we departed Drysdale behind a vintage diesel locomotive, and arrived into Queenscliff with steam locomotive 'Pozieres' leading the train!

Unique experiences are what we're all about at The Bellarine Railway!

TOMORROW - 1604 and Pozieres on the Seaside Explorer

Experience railway evolution come to life, as we depart Drysdale station behind ex-Queensland Rail diesel locomotive 1604, and arrive at Queenscliff behind steam locomotive ‘Pozieres’.

Pozieres will be attaching at Lakers Siding, and leading the Seaside Explorer into Queenscliff, followed by the Swan Bay Express and The Q Train.

Experience the evolution of railway power, as we depart Drysdale behind a Diesel-Electric locomotive, and arrive in Queenscliff behind a steam locomotive!

Spend the day exploring the seaside town of Queenscliff, before returning to Drysdale (by rail) in the afternoon.

Join us as we welcome Pozieres back to service this weekend, is it heads each and every train between Lakers Siding and Queenscliff!

That means the Seaside Explorer and Swan Bay Express on Sunday, and The Q Train on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Tickets still remain for Sundays Seaside Explorer (from Drysdale), and the Swan Bay Express (from Queenscliff)

Pozieres - our new tank engine, fresh out of an extensive overhaul - will be hauling The Seaside Explorer, The Swan Bay Express, and The Q Train between Lakers Siding and Queenscliff!

Pozieres has never appeared on the Seaside Explorer or The Q Train before!
