Ex Sydney Harbour Pilot/Police vessel in for some fresh Gunwale & Keel timbers. John her owner, freshened her up with a lick of paint on her topside. Dane cutting his teeth on the timber side of things!
The space & facilities we have here at makes it the perfect location for all marine services, overhauls, modifications, and major projects.

👋Meet Dane.

We'd like to officially welcome our newest team member to the crew.

Joining us back end of September, he stepped straight into the thick of it during our busiest period of the year and didn't shy away from the challenge.

From day one, he's shown a strong level of common sense, solid work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn the trade. He's already proven how much he wants it, and we're proud to support him as he begins his shipwright apprenticeship.

We're looking forward to watching him grow, learn, and develop into a fully qualified shipwright over the coming years.

Last week was our first week back and we hit the ground running.

After a well-earned break, the team returned last week straight into a busy workshop and packed schedule. Boats back on the hardstand, tools back in hand replacing the holiday beers and repairs of every kind underway from day one.

We're looking forward to another big year of quality shipwright work in our prime location within and helping owners get back on the water with confidence.

That’s a wrap for the year.

We want to say a massive thank you to all our customers, suppliers, trades and everyone who supported RS Shipwrights throughout the year.
It’s been a big year moving into in the workshop at Cove Marine , we’re grateful for everyone's patience whilst we set up shop.

Wishing you all a well-earned break, time with family and friends, and a cold drink or two 🍻
