LR Family, mental health is important and we don't need to wait for an allocated day to reach out to someone important to us. It's the little things that matter, care and connection.

This week we are doing a little challenge and we'd like all current LR staff to participate. We are calling this week "LRUOK WEEK".

Basically all you need to do is add a photo of yourself participating in some sort of exercise (healthy body, healthy mind). This could range from taking a selfie whilst going for a walk, run, hike or even while on a hotshot doing some push-ups. The aim is to be creative and have some fun doing it. Once you've posted your photo in the comments on this post, simply tag the friend who you'll be checking in on this week. The whole aim is to reach out to a friend, family or loved one to check in on them. It's that easy.

Now the catch is, we will be raising some funds for Beyond Blue. You are welcome to make your own donation by clicking on the link, however for every current serving LR employee that participates in this challenge, LR Hotshots will be donating $50.00 per employee to Beyond Blue.

Our amazing Managing Director, Andrew Lye was the first off the rank when he went on a recent hike. Don't leave our boss hanging so start posting your photo's, tagging your friend today.

Together, let's see if we can raise $1000.00 for Beyond Blue and generate some more awareness for mental health.

From Strength to Strength

Over 12 months ago we struck up a partnership with Western Roads, which allowed us to give fresh new drivers the opportunity to kickstart their careers in the transport industry.

This partnership has grown from strength to strength, with success coming from all drivers to transition from the Western Roads Driver Training Program to becoming members of the LR Road Team.

Many thanks go out to Neil Savage, who refers those trainees that excelled during their course by passing on their CV to our HR Department for potential employment. All of these successful candidates have been magnificent since joining the LR Team and credit goes to the training program within Western Roads.

LR Hotshots pride ourselves on setting our staff up for success and a special shout out to our most resent Western Roads Inductees (Kristina, Kala & Rob). All three have made LR their home and are valuable editions to our Road Team.
