🌼🐝 Big news from Verdant Vista Community Garden! 🐝🌼

We’ve got some new buzzing residents joining our garden — bees! 🐝💛

These tiny pollinators are settling into their new hive and will play a huge role in keeping our flowers blooming, our veggies thriving, and our garden ecosystem healthy. It’s an exciting step towards making Verdant Vista even more sustainable and self-sufficient.

Next time you’re in the garden, you might notice the hive (from a safe distance of course 😉). Watch as these incredible little workers go about their day — pollinating, protecting, and building a stronger garden community for us all.

🌿 Why we love our bees:
✨ They boost crop yields and plant growth
🌸 They support biodiversity
🍯 And one day, they might even gift us some local honey!

🌱🐛 Did you miss out on our recent Worm Farm Workshop supported by the council and the Worm Farm experts? Don't worry, we've got you covered with all the highlights! 🌟

We had an amazing time diving into the fascinating world of vermicomposting and learning how to turn kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost for our gardens. From setting up and maintaining a worm farm to troubleshooting common issues, our workshop covered it all!

Participants got practical tips from our knowledgeable instructor Kevin from The Worm Shed, ensuring everyone left feeling confident and inspired to start their own worm farm journey. Plus, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow eco-conscious community members and exchange ideas for sustainable living.
